John P. Rodriguez, B. Th.

Rev. John P. Rodriguez was born in Long Island, New York. His life was shaped
at a young age as his parents served as teachers and counselors at the Teen
Challenge Training Center in Pennsylvania for ten years and served as pastors of a
congregation for five years.

Rev. Rodriguez is a military veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force for ten
years. Nearing the end of his enlistment, after having endured seasons of struggle
as he wrestled with the call to ministry on his life since birth, he responded to that
call and transitioned in his studies from Computer Science to Theology.
While attending Seminary and working at the Pentagon, he survived the terrorist
attack of September 11 th, 2001. Undeterred from God’s plan for his life, he went
on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Theology and continued on with
Postgraduate studies.

Rev. Rodriguez has served the First Bilingual Christian Church of Baltimore
(IBCCB) in varied capacities for over 15 years and currently oversees various
departments in the church and provides Christian Counseling services to members
of the congregation.

Together with Bishop Nunez, Rev. Rodriguez co-founded the IBCCB School of
Ministry where he serves as Academic Dean and Professor. He draws from his
life experiences and vast knowledge of the word of God to be an effective teacher
and minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
